The EcoCenter at Heron's Head Park

The EcoCenter at Heron's Head Park, a project of Literacy for Environmental Justice, is a landmark environmental education center in San Francisco dedicated to Environmental Justice and teaching green building through demonstration. The center features: an off-grid solar array, an on-site blackwater wastewater treatment system; 15K gallons of rainwater storage; a riparian wetlands Vegetative roof; and an array of sustainable site landscape and land management solutions.
